CharteringDays is free to read and is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works, because you should be able to see it rather than guess at it.
How it works
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and go on to book, the company pays a commission. You pay the same price you would have paid going direct. Nothing is added to your bill and no discount is withheld from you.
Affiliate links are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored", which is the standard way of declaring a commercial link.

What commission does not affect
This matters more than the list above. Commission does not decide which cruising grounds appear on this site, the order they are shown in, the wind figures quoted, the experience level a ground is marked as suiting, or whether a warning is included on a page.
The site carries no operator inventory and sells nothing directly, so there is no fleet that needs filling and no incentive to send you somewhere unsuitable. A ground described as demanding is described that way because it is, and steering a first-time charterer to an easier one costs this site money rather than making it.
No paid placements
No company has paid to be featured, reviewed, or written about here. No sponsored posts are accepted and no links are sold. If that ever changes, this page changes with it and anything paid for will be labelled on the page it appears on.
